McQueen's vision lives on.

The nerve-wracking and highly anticipated premier of Alexander McQueen's spring/summer 2011 collection walked the runways of Milan in October. And new Creative Director, Sarah Burton, was behind the drawing board this time around, stepping into very big, designer shoes. Quite a feat, whilst grieving McQueen's death -as she was his right-hand woman for many years. Burton became the creative lead after McQueen's shocking suicide earlier this year. 


If you ask me, the collection is an exquisite, visionary success and the fashion critics that be agree. Looks like Burton will continue to breathe life into McQueen's dark and quirky imaginations while stitching in her own feminine details to mark her new territory.
