Digging for treasure.

Looking for inspiration? Visit Edmonton's Old Strathcona Antique Mall!

I spent Saturday afternoon with my gentleman friend scouring the aisles for vintage treasures. The endless displays of unique trinkets is overwhelming. You could spend hours trying to take it all in. I found beautiful antique brooches, purses, clip-on earrings, crates of vinyl records, well weathered books and board games galore!

Shopping at consignment or vintage shops doesn't just leave you with a closet full of gems that no one else has, but you'll also contribute to the health of our planet by purchasing reusable items. Rad!

I took home a bright red, wool beret for only $10. It worked perfectly for my Parisian-inspired outfit Saturday night.

  2. Did they have much from the 60's? I'm looking for a coffee table, or any kind of retro decor stuff really...

  3. Absolutely. Lots of items from 50's, 60's and 70's. There is some beautiful furniture in the upstairs.
