That's it. That's all. Day eight. Western Canada Fashion Week.

Thursday evening marked the end of Western Canada Fashion Week for Spring 2011. I'm so sad for it all to end! I had such an amazing experience, met the sweetest bloggers, and was inspired by our incredibly talented local designers.

Day eight of Fashion Week went out on a very high and fashionable note featuring designs by Sofiss, Serendipity, Jessica Halabi, Emogene Couture, and Joeffer Caoc.

My favourite lines of the evening were surely Serendipity and Jessica Halabi.

Jessica Halabi

Interesting dying techniques by Jessica Halabi.

Beautifully cut jacket by Jessica Halabi.

Daaaaarling.

Kelsey McIntyre, designer for Serendipity, presented a detailed collection full of mystery and whimsy. The models carried vintage bird cages and lanterns with faces adorned in feathers and bold, red lips. I fell in love with the heavy fabrics and 40's silhouettes. You can read my interview with Kelsey here.

Love that little owl!

Designer Kelsey McIntyre has a lot to smile about! This final dress received a loud round of applause.
