Judge Janis to weigh in on Windows on Whyte

Window display design is a serious art. Thousands of hopefuls graduate from visual communication programs every year with the dream to some day craft displays for companies such as Bergdorf's, Saks, Barney's, and even Anthropologie. This Saturday some of Edmonton's creative talents will try to prove their skills in designing provoking and eye-catching displays.... and I will be there to judge them.

Along with a panel of other YEG fashion bloggers, we will decide who deserves first place in the Windows on Whyte Window Display Design Competition! MacEwan University design students and recent graduates will flaunt their creative skills creating unique and inspiring window displays for eight clothing boutiques in our beloved Old Strathcona, including:
The Bamboo Ballroom
The Avenue Clothing Co.
Gravity Pope
Colour Blind
Oak + Fort

Mars + Venus

This event is a lead up to the Whyte Avenue Fashion Showcase on September 23rd at Western Canada Fashion Week.

  1. I have no idea how people can do this. Window displays are amazing. If it is a good display, I could stop and stare at it for hours.
