petticoat junction

I stumbled across this vintage petticoat in the colourful racks of Edmonton's eclectic, vintage, treasure trove, the Junque Cellar.  You've seen it before in this post, where I rocked it in a very non-traditional style all by its lonesome. This time, I've worn it traditionally, layered underneath this patterned party dress to create a fun, new silhouette. Photography: Harvey Miedreich. Dress, H&M. Petticoat, Junque Cellar. Tights, H&M. Shoes, The Bay. Scarf, my mom's closet.

  5. I love crinolines! They give vintage (and new) dresses such a fun, throwback silhouette, and make your waist look tiny while they're at it.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Yes, I survived the juice cleanse. And let's just say that's not a mistake I'll ever make again. Here's to good food!
