glossybox rox my sox

Fifteen dollars. Five items. Delivered to your door. This might be the beauty industry's most genius marketing tool to date. Introducing GlossyBox.

Well established in the UK, GlossyBox is now available in Canada and offering a whole range of full size and sample size beauty items. Delivered by mail, GlossyBox is a $15 subscription service that sends five, beautifully wrapped products from a variety of brands ranging in makeup, skincare, fragrances, nail care and more. A postcard describing each product is also included in the package and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

GlossyBox sent me its February Valentine-themed box to sample, and I have nothing but rave reviews. My pretty pink box was filled with useful, quality items and introduced me to some new products I absolutely love, but may have never tried.

My GlossyBox included:
1. Ahava Skincare Mineral Hand Cream
2. Skin Care Moisturizing Stick by Elizabeth Grant
3. Essie Nail Polish in Neo Whimsical
4. Live in Love body lotion by Oscar de la Renta
5. Elizabeth Arden Prevage Night Anti-Aging Restorative Cream
*There were also some extra goodies included: Beauty So Clean Cosmetic Sanitizer Wipes and Mist to remove bacteria from makeup and brushes.

Who doesn't love a pretty packaged present delivered once a month? This is such a great idea, I can't wait for the next one! Sign up for your GlossyBox here

  1. I've always been intrigued by the idea (same lines as birch box that other blogs i follow get) but I'm not sure if the price is worth it. I mean, you got a really sweet box this month, but I'm always concerned with these things that I would get several months of crap that I could have spent on makeup or whatever that I already knew I wanted.

Anyways, this is a super awesome idea and I'm glad that companies are finally offering these things to Canadians at reasonable rates.

  2. YESSSS! I've known about this for a while but thanks for reminding me, and now it's in Canada which is amazing!

  3. Uh oh. I might have to hop on over to this website and spend some money!

  4. Nice idea - looks like you got some good products. Sadly I'm allergic to EVERYTHING so I can't take advantage.

  5. I get glymm box, which is basically the same thing, excpet based out of Canada. My friend told me about glossy box though, so I might subscribe to that one too!!

thanks for posting the rad items you got in your box!

  6. That seems fun! And it seems like something Marie would love! Do you get to pick at all what comes?

  7. Hahaha, Marie does lover her beauty products!! It is a really fun idea. You don't get to pick what comes, it's a surprise!

The nice thing is there is no contract or commitment either, so you can cancel the subscription anytime you want.

    Thanks for your comment!
