peter pan polka

My closet continues to fill with peter pan collars. Ultra sweet and feminine, the style coined its name from actress Maude Adams' costume when she portrayed Peter Pan way back in 1905. Though the rounded collar look is dominated by women, expect to see it popping up around the necks of our male counterparts this summer as the very similar, male version known as the "club collar" becomes more popular.

  8. I always love a peter pan collar - interesting to know the origin too! I figured it came from someone playing Peter pan at some point!

How come nobody is mentioning Minnie Mouse? That's why I thought it was so cute, the patterns, prints, and colors (esp with that pop of yellow) is totally Minnie, but in a chic way.
