a train bound for nowhere.

We all whine and complain about Edmonton transit from time to time, but I'm truly thankful for it. It gets me to and from work every day without the stress of traffic, I can squeeze in an extra 10 minutes of sleep or watch hilarious transit riders do hilarious things. For example, this morning I watched a lady apply an entire face of makeup including eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipstick while peering into her tiny pocket mirror. Impressive.

Huge thanks to Anjolee.com for gifting me this pretty, custom tennis bracelet! Check out their website for a beautiful selection of diamond tennis bracelets.

  3. Such a cute outfit - I love your hat and that pretty necklace. Gotta say, I have an appreciation for transit too! I don't use it much now that I am once again living on PEI, but while I lived in Ottawa it was my main way of getting around.

  4. First of all, love the photos on the train...I'm always shy of anyone watching me take my photos!
And I love everything about this outfit, the stripes and straw hat are summery, but materials perfect for a chillier day.
    Love your blog, following!

  5. Great necklace!

I totally agree about transit! Another benefit is that it creates inescapable downtime- that perfect chance to read a chapter of a book, or read that morning's twitter feed. And there certainly are some crazy sights to see! I once saw a girl clip her nails, brush her hair, and douse herself in tropical scented body spray. I was horrified!

Love that you shot this on transit...you are a serious pro. And this whole look is perfection...love the shot of coral, the stripes, everything!
