If there is one skirt you buy this season - this is it. The Marilyn from Edmonton label Serendipity is the swiss army knife of pencil skirts. It has a bow, which is movable/removable. It has ruffles. It comes in all sorts of colours including red, teal and this warm yellow. It's wool-rayon blend gives a bit of stretch, for even the most Shakira of hips (shown above). What more do you want? It's a total head-turner and will make an epic entrance at any holiday shindigs you plan to be fashionably late for. Available at Bamboo Ballroom, $112.
The Local Pick is a regular Dress Me Dearly feature showcasing my favourite finds from Edmonton-owned boutiques and Edmonton designers.
P.S: Mom, sorry about the transparent blouse. No need to email to tell me you can see my bra. I know. xoxo
